Little Explorers Earth Day Nature Walk

Little Explorers: Earth Day Nature Walk 🌎
Thursday, April 23 | 10:00 AM
📍 Saddler’s Woods, Haddon Township

Join Ms. Elena from the River & Root team for a special Earth Day pop-up designed just for our littlest explorers. Together, we’ll take a gentle, toddler-friendly nature walk through Saddler’s Woods, visit the goats who recently arrived, explore the wooded trails, and spend time by the creek with simple sand and water play (we'll bring the toys!).

This experience is best suited for walking children through age 4. If your child is not yet walking and you would still like to join, we recommend bringing a carrier, as the trail is not stroller-friendly. While the terrain is manageable for toddlers and we’ve walked it many times with little ones, strollers will not be able to navigate the path.

This event is part of our River & Root Community Gatherings, a series of events and meetups hosted beyond the walls of River & Root, designed to bring families together out in the community. Please note that this event is not held at River & Root. We will be meeting at Saddler’s Woods in Haddon Township, and exact location details, including where to park and where to meet, will be shared after registration.

If you’ve never been to Saddler’s Woods before, it’s a truly special local gem, and our team is so excited to explore it with you. This is one of our first gatherings out in the community, and we look forward to continuing these experiences throughout the warmer months.

As part of our Earth Day celebration, 50% of all proceeds will be donated directly to the Saddler’s Woods Conservation Association to support the care and preservation of this beautiful Camden County green space.

🎟 $10 per child (ages 0–4) | $5 per sibling

We can’t wait to explore with you 🌿
