Overview
Join us at River + Root for a 45-minute, child-led process art class hosted by Philly Art Center - Cherry Hill! Designed for little artists ages 18 months–3 years, each class invites children to explore a variety of art materials, tools, textures, and techniques through open-ended projects that expand your kiddos skills, curiosity and creative decision making.

Open-ended exploration lays the foundation for out-of-the-box thinking. This class focuses on the process: mixing, painting, stamping, building, experimenting, and discovering what happens along the way. Children are encouraged to make their own choices, follow their curiosity, and create at their own pace.

These playful art experiences support fine motor development, coordination, confidence, self-expression, social connection, and creative thinking. Grown-ups are invited to create alongside their little ones while giving them plenty of space to lead the way.

Each week brings something new to explore, plenty of opportunities to get hands-on, and a welcoming space where there’s no right or wrong way to make art!
